Poetic innocence versus factual innocence.

Poetic innocence is the innocence associated with a good child, born to a kindly family, on Christmas day. Factual innocence is the unwinnable mode and is quite dreadful. Poetic innocence is the word "gift" in the sense of "present". Factual innocence is the word "gift" in the sense of "poison".
